Awesome!!! 🎉Please make one about replacing the bathroom sink faucet.
Thank you so much for your video! We changed our kitchen tap without any issues following your video!! 🎉
Mate, I can't thankyou enough for such a brilliant tutorial on fixing the kitchen cabinetry. One of my kitchen cabinet door top hinge came off and no amount of Bunnings explanation text helped me, but this video helped me fix my door straight away. Cheers, -Ram
hey there. if i were to use sandpaper alone prior to water paint for indoor pvc trunking, you reckon the paint would stick?
I have a Kohler kitchen faucet and I need to replace the cartridge inside it. It has no screws and I will have to use channel lock plyers and a towel. I can scratch up the old one since Kohler sent me a new handle and cartridge as part of a warranty claim. I believe there are special tools for this job that have a rubberized surface to remove the part.
really great video. definitely will subscribe. Can I ask, is it possible to grout in the drain or do you have to use silicone? Our shower is leaking and was a prior diy job. They have grouted in an infinity drain. To clarify, there is about a 2cm space along both the front and back of the infinity drain that is just grout (i.e they didn't tile up to the edge of the drain and just used grout). The grout now has small cracks in it that i assume are the source of the leak.
WD40 is actually not a lubricant as most people think. It's actually a lubricant remover/degreaser so it has the opposite effect to lubricant in the medium-long term.
What a tremendously helpful video - concise and detailed at the same time. Thank you so much.
You did a great job. I'm really DREADING getting started. I have to use 2 pieces of tint for an extra wide window. AHHH!
This was very helpful today. I was attaching blinds to an aluminum gazebo. I decided to rivet the attachments the wrong way round initially so that I could practice how to drill out rivets (OK, maybe I didn’t decide that in advance). Excellent instructions, thank you from Canada!
Thumbs up mate!!! thank you its really helpful.
will a hair dryer help tame the curl in the tint from being rolled up?

So you didn’t like my intro Max😉 ..don’t blame you, I don’t wanna look at my ugly mug either. good on you mate, Kent
This and all your other videos have helped me heaps. So sorry I didnt find the channel sooner and note you haven’t posted anything for quite a well. so well explained and presented. Thank you and all the best.
Oh thanks Bob for that lovely comment 🙂 glad to have you here mate. I have taken a hiatus, but glad it’s still helping y’all out. Kent
Fantastically helpful video. I would have ripped the door off the cabinet if I had not first watched this video. Door fixed in about 5 minutes! Thanks a lot!
Just stumbled across your channel mate. Real good info. I'll have a crack at my shower this weekend. Cheers 👍
that would cost siiixty-siiix dollars in Australia bro
This only works if you have that type of hinges.
I HAVE OLD FASHION OUTSIDE HINGES....DOORS TO TIGHT TO CLOSE AND I JUST WANT TO TAKE OFF A BIT OF WOOD____IS IT BETTER TO SAND OR FILE OR WHAT? IF SAND WHAT TYPE OF SANDER WOULD YOU USE FOR THAT THIN WOOD SURFACE?
The best flyscreen removal & reinstall for my window! Thank you so much for posting this video 😉
Good on you mate! Awesome job👍
Great video mate. Very informative and explained well. 👍
Thanks Choppa👍 Kent
Have a cabinet with these type euro hinges... doors will not close. Stay open about two inches at the middle. Loosening the back screw definitelt lets them close, but the slot the screw is in is not a closed hole like the ones you show here. It is a horizontal slot open at the back. If the screw is loosened enough to let the doors close, the doors are no longer connected to the cabinet and fall off when opened. Cannot tell you how much I hate this style of hinges.
Hey Daz, I’ve had this happen before too.. it turned out to be a worn out/damaged hinge (x2) and needed replacement. Best of luck 👍Kent
Even my deep socket is not deep enough to unscrew. Really struggling
Hey Judah, that’s a shame🙄 It may be time to invest in one of these.. amzn.to/4e9sOjW Best of luck mate, Kent
Aha that will solve the problem. Unfortunately it’s out of stock on amazon at the moment. Other option I have is to remove the whole sink. Remove the old tap and replace with new before reattaching the sink.
installing 3 today. Yeah 2 people is essential for a good job. I had so much trouble getting the back film off.. never thought of using 2 bits of tape.. thanks for the assist :)
Glad I could help Gavin, cheers for the comment mate 🤙Kent
THANKYOU! I was not sure why my cabinet door was not closing fully you saved my sanity!
Sanity still intact, well done mate👍 Kent
Obviously an Australian (great) lucky you, poly pipe, unfortunately for me, old steel pipe, but what a great episode, love the safety and the can do attitude.
Thanks for the great comment Camden! Cheers mate, 🤙 Kent
What % VLT film did you get from PolyTint? They range from 5% - 30% and im not sure what will be best
Hey Kate, 15-30% VLT from memory - reducing glare but still allows light. there is a link to the product I used here.. www.polyfilm.com.au/home-and-office-window-tinting The higher VLT percentage = more light transmission . Best of luck, Kent
🙏🏼🌺🌹🙏🏼
Cute comment, thanks for the flowers 😉 Kent
It is nice you can look to see your chlorine generator working. Most of us however have solid generators so we can't physically see the action of the chlorine production. So far testing is limited to trying to grab water from closest to the return jet and checking it vs the rest of the pool water to see if it has more chlorine. My generator has always seemed to produce the tinyest amount of chlorine even at the highest levels.
Hey Rick, great comment mate - yeah you are right the digital gauge is the easiest method for keeping track of chlorine production, but we are all the same - nothing beats a water test to monitor all chem levels. Cheers, Kent
👍👍👍👏👏👏🙏
Thanks Maria, which one do you use? Kent
@@InspireDIY hi I like the bakin soda with the dish detergent and hot water the best for me👍👏👏👏
WD40: flammable vapor, combustible when dry, and a de-greaser. Motor: electrical spark potential, temp rise (heats up) during operation, enjoys proper lubrication.
Well done rockerduel👌 keeping us safe mate. Cheers, Kent
Great video, very helpful, thanks for putting effort to share.
Glad you liked it Shosho, cheers for the nice comment 🤙 Kent
Thou doth rock. Two days or purgatory for me. U were clear and quick! Great camera work too. Thank u SO much!

Thank you for the video! Mine did not go as smoothly, but your video kept it from being a waste of tint and money! I appreciate you

Brilliant - took me 3 days and then watched this for 30 secs and sorted it in an instant. Thank you!!
Good on you Neil, thanks for letting me know that it was helpful 👍 Kent
It didn't fit with what was on your door area.
What do you mean Linda? Kent
Great video We had 67% chlorine production but plenty in the pool. Turned out to be the probe had a dirty connection and wasn't measuring correctly. Cleaned it and now 100%
That’s a win Andrew 👌well done mate. Kent
No fkn jarring music, pleasant demeanour, and clear explanations. A rare and pleasant experience.
You are very kind mate! Thanks for letting me know👌 cheers, Kent
That looked easy but when it comes to me doing it its gonna take ages , cheers for the step to step guide
I’ve got faith in you 123, let us know how you get on👍 cheers, Kent
G'day Kent. Great vid mate, so many thanks. Just wondering what % and colour tint you used in the vid... there seems so many to choose from! Cheers. 🍻
Hey Aussie, it was 15-30% VLT from memory, high number lets more light in (25% is very common) There is a link to the product I used here.. www.polyfilm.com.au/home-and-office-window-tinting And I prefer the silver colour, I feel the blue looks dated/discoloured Cheers. Kent
All of a sudden today I cannot fully open nor close an upper cabinet door. I will be looking at Adjustment #4, although I already see a lower hinge first horizontal screw sticking way out. Now to figure out which way to turn that screw with the limited opening it is allowing at the moment. Thanks for the helpful video. Hope one of these adjustments work!
Best of luck GearMaven, let us know how you get on👍 Kent
Not all heroes wear capes!!! Thank you sir! 🫡
Haha, cheers Adam🤙 Kent
Think mine is under the driveway (paved and shared driveway). *sigh* Mine literally started just after the water corporation changed over the water meters
Hey mate, ours seemed to happen as a combo of wear and the council upping the pressure 🙄 best of luck with the repairs, Kent
Thank you for this comparison. I hate cleaning these things!
Me too.
Nice work, easy for newbies to understand. It would be awesome if you would do a video to install a door lock and hinges. We manufacture jigs for locks and hinges and it would be great if you would be interested in reviewing. Thanks Jeff

Use a long piece of masking tape on the top to "hinge" it up top Leave the backing on. Remove the backing after you have it lined up and taped up top (make sure the tinting covers the entire window).
Well done Neal, great tip 👌 cheers, Kent
Dayum…that’s one smooth film project
Thank you mate, hopefully it helped you out👍 cheers. Kent
